Residential and Commercial Chemical Applications
Lawns Unlimited, LLC offers a variety of applications to maintain and enhance your properties appearance, both commercial and residential.
When it comes to your lawn, we offer six standard applications throughout the Spring and Summer months to inhibit crabgrass, broadleaf weeds, insects as well as fertilizing to ensure a beautiful and healthy lawn all summer long.
Pricing is the same for our six standard applications and is based on the desired area’s square footage. Don’t know the square footage? No problem! We will schedule a technician stop by and measure for you! Once they have measured, we will contact you with exact pricing.

The season starts with our Early Spring Application. A dry fertilizer and crabgrass preventer applied in early Spring when soil temperature supports growth but before crabgrass gets a foothold.
Next is our Spring Application. This application is a liquid crabgrass control, liquid broadleaf weed control and liquid fertilizer. It is applied in May when growing conditions are prime; when soil temperature around 55⁰F at 2” depth. The Ferromec from the liquid fertilizer produces rapid turf “green-up” without excessive growth. This is the key time for crabgrass and broadleaf control applications for your lawn.
Then our Early Summer Application is applied. This application contains a liquid fertilizer with micronutrient supplement along with our liquid Grub / Insect Control. This application must be watered in within 24 hours of it being applied in order for the Grub / Insect Control to be effective. Watering ensures the chemical will get into the soil to kill insects and grubs that may be in your lawn.
Our fourth application is the Late Summer Application. A dry fertilizer that has Nitrogen paired with Iron which keeps your lawn fed and enhances the rich green color through the summer months.
Next comes the Fall Application. Our last liquid application of the year containing liquid broadleaf weed control with fertilizer for early Fall. Broadleaf control is most beneficial in the Fall Application as weeds are storing nutrients for winter. In turn, the chemical is absorbed to roots for maximum control.
Our last application of the year is our Late Fall Application. A dry fertilizer applied in late Fall for root strength and building disease resistance. It has a low Nitrogen ratio because growing season is done.
Pricing is the same for our six standard applications and is based on the desired area’s square footage. Don’t know the square footage? No problem! We will schedule a technician stop by and measure for you! Once they have measured, we will contact you with exact pricing.
Along with the six standard applications, we also offer a variety of other applications including:
-
Insecticide Application: kills mosquitoes, ants, earwigs, fleas, ticks, crickets, spiders, and hundreds of other types of insects that might be in your lawn and around your home outside. This application will control these insects for up to 30 days. Rainfall and irrigated areas will affect the number of days it is effective in your lawn. Please note: the chemical used for this application is different than the chemical used in our Early Summer Application.
-
Quinclorac Application: kills crabgrass after growth. Recommended as a situational application only. This application is not necessary every year but may be needed if you have had issues controlling crabgrass in the past or if it is a bad year for crabgrass. If you notice lots of lime green colored tufts of grass throughout your lawn mid-summer, you may find this application beneficial.
-
Burndown: a bare ground weed control which keeps your parking lots, gravel driveways and rock boulevards free of weeds all summer long. Our product is ideally applied in Early Spring, before weeds emerge and prevents future weed growth throughout the summer months.
The price of each of these applications differs but is also charged by the desired area’s square footage. Once square footage is known; we will contact you with exact pricing.

Lawn maintenance is an important part of keeping your lawn lush, green, and beautiful all summer long. Part of that maintenance comes from aerating your lawn. Lawn aeration involves controlling lawn thatch and reducing soil compaction, making grass roots multiply. Aerating either by coring or spiking causes the roots to divide or sever apart, which rarely happens naturally. Severing the roots causes them to multiply and thus the blades of grass multiply, keeping the lawn thick and deeply rooted as the holes become engorged with roots. Lawns Unlimited, LLC offers this service in the Fall. Doing so in the Fall allows the snow fall to naturally break the cores of dirt left after aerating. Contact us today to get on our schedule.
